Mr. Matt Williams, Principal

In 2018, Matt Williams became the very proud Principal of Desert Mirage. Over his 20 plus years of service to the Pendergast Elementary School District, he has served in many roles supporting school communities. Starting his career in Pendergast as a physical education teacher, Mr. Williams then transitioned to teaching middle school science. From there, he supported scholars and teachers as a Behavior Interventionist, Assistant Principal at multiple school sites, and now has his dream job as Principal. As a native of Arizona, Mr. Williams is dedicated to the field of education and making a positive impact on his community. He prioritizes innovative and equitable educational experiences for Desert Mirage scholars and strives to make a difference in the lives of his school community. 

Mrs. Rosalind Kinsch, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Rosalind Kinsch has been a transformative leader dedicated to education for close to two decades, with more than half of that time proudly serving in the Pendergast Elementary School District. She holds a bachelor’s degree in K–8 Education, a master’s degree in Adult Education, and a post‑master’s certificate in Educational Leadership.

As an intentional relationship builder, Mrs. Kinsch works to inspire growth, build strong connections, and guide both scholars and staff toward reaching their fullest potential. She believes that every scholar can achieve great success and that working hand in hand with teachers, families, and the broader community is the key to that success.
