Mr. Matt Williams, Principal
In 2018, Matt Williams became the very proud Principal of Desert Mirage. Over his 20 plus years of service to the Pendergast Elementary School District, he has served in many roles supporting school communities. Starting his career in Pendergast as a physical education teacher, Mr. Williams then transitioned to teaching middle school science. From there, he supported scholars and teachers as a Behavior Interventionist, Assistant Principal at multiple school sites, and now has his dream job as Principal. As a native of Arizona, Mr. Williams is dedicated to the field of education and making a positive impact on his community. He prioritizes innovative and equitable educational experiences for Desert Mirage scholars and strives to make a difference in the lives of his school community.
Mrs. Brischell Palmer-Eastburn, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Brischell Palmer-Eastburn is the proud Assistant Principal of Desert Mirage Elementary School. Mrs. Palmer-Eastburn has served as an educator for more than twelve years. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to teach different grade levels. Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal at Desert Mirage, she served as a Teacher, Mentor Teacher, and Instructional Coach. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, both from Arizona State University. Her ultimate goal as a school administrator is to help students and staff succeed in all of their future endeavors.
